Initiate of the Horradrum

      Like many people, I have really enjoyed playing Diablo, and Diablo II. Although I never really liked playing the sorcerer, as I tended to enjoy playing the Rogue and Amazon. However, I was fascinated by the charecter Cain. With a name like Cain, you would have imagined that he had done something worse, but as he is the descendent of Cain, I would assume...

      All of this is beside the point. Fact is, I'm a freak of the game as anyone else, and when I bought the supplement, I was very unsure I would want the classes accessable. The spells were not quite balance out, and needed to be fiddled upward most of the time. Although I do like the book, I felt that standard classes would work better, especially since at the time, my idea was that the last brother, Baal, would visit a side demension to wreak havok and plunder it for souls to add to his army. With this in mind, I started to plan Prestige Classes that would combine the aspects of both games, and here you go.

      This Class is in First Draft format

Hit Dice: d4

Requirments:

Skills : Knowledge: Planes 10+
Languages : Celestial and Infernal
Alignment :Must be Netrual Good
Spells: Must be able to cast one spell from each of the subgroups Fire, Cold, Acid, Electricity, Earth, and Air. One of these spells must be a 4th level spell.

Class Skills:

      The Initiate of the Horradrum class skills (and corresponding Statisics) are Bluff (Cha), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Disguise (Cha), Knowlefge (All of them, taken individually) (Int), Scry (Int), and Spellcraft (Int).

      The Initiate gains 2 + Intelligence Modifier per level.

Class Features:

Weapons & Armor : The Initiate of the Horradrum is proficent with all simple weapons.

Spell Progression: The Initiate of the Horradrum proceeds to gain spells as normal from his inital class at one per level. If the Initiate of the Horradrum has more then one class, he must choose which one gains the advancement.

Item Lore: The Initiate of the Horradrum is a trained scholar, adn is taught the weapons that are used in the struggle between Heaven and Hell. Once per item, by examining it, and holding it in the way it is ment to be used, the Initiate has a 10% chance per level of identiying the item. The Initate can only attempt this once per item, no matter how much time has passed inbetween attempts.

Spell Warmth: The Initiate of the Horradrum is strong in his magical powers, and has the uncanny ability to keep casting spells long after others have run out. Any spell cast by the Initiate has a 10% chance of not being exhasted, retaining the spell for yet another casting. This spell, however, must be equal to or less then the level of the Initiate. (For example, a 2nd level Initate could try to retain a Glitterdust (a 2nd level Spell), but not a Lightning Bolt (a 3rd level spell) This is a Supernatural ability.

Elemental Resistance: The Initiate of the Horradrum, starting at 2nd level, gains the ability to resist the elements that form the world. The initate can choose one element, which he can reduce damage by 15. He can choose anothe at 4th, 6th, and 8th level. He can choose from any subtype available. This is a Supernatural Ability.
